Microsoft Teams Wiki Is Dead And What To Do Instead

  • Microsoft Teams Wiki is being retired by Microsoft.

  • Microsoft has not made any improvements to Wiki since the release of Teams in 2017.

  • Microsoft will replace Wiki with OneNote, although it is unclear if OneNote will have all the same functionality as Wiki.

  • Exporting content from Wiki to OneNote will be possible through a wizard.

  • Users should be cautious about the transition as it may result in the loss of information if not managed properly.
